This is a translation. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
Climbl lets you delete your account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how to do it and what gets erased.
Method 1 — From the app (immediate)
- Open Climbl and sign in to your account.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- In the App section, tap Delete account.
- Confirm: the deletion is immediate and permanent.
Method 2 — By email
If you no longer have access to the app, send a request from your account's email address to support@climbl.app with the subject “Account deletion”. We process the request and confirm the deletion within 30 days at most.
Data deleted
- Climber profile: level, discipline, experience, goals, frequency.
- Logbook: sessions, routes/boulders and how they felt.
- Account: email address and sign-in identity.
- Usage: usage events tied to your account.
This data is deleted permanently, with no recoverable backup.
Data that may be kept
We keep no personal data after deletion, except where required by law (e.g. billing records linked to a subscription, kept for the legally required period). Payments are handled by the App Store or Google Play: Climbl never has access to your banking details.
