Terms of use and sale
Last updated: 20 October 2026
This is a translation. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
By using Climbl, you accept these terms. They are an agreement between the publisher of Climbl (see the legal notice), and you, as a user of the app and of the climbl.app website.
The service
Climbl is a climbing logbook that analyses your sessions and offers training plans. Plans, insights and advice are provided for information only and replace neither a coach's opinion nor that of a health professional. They are generated solely from the data you enter: how relevant they are depends directly on how accurate your logbook is.
Safety
Climbing carries risks, including serious injury. You remain solely responsible for your climbing, your equipment and your safety checks. Follow the safety rules of your gym and your partners. Do not start any plan offered by Climbl if your health does not allow it; if in doubt, see a doctor.
Access and account
The app can be used in guest mode or with an account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential and for activity carried out from your account. Climbl is reserved for people aged 15 or over; below that age, the consent of a holder of parental authority is required. You can delete your account at any time (see Account deletion).
Premium subscription
Climbl offers a first plan for free, then a Premium subscription of your choice: €9.99 per month or €79.99 per year, all taxes included. There is no free trial and no lifetime option.
The subscription is taken out and paid through the App Store or the Google Play Store, whose terms apply to the payment. It renews automatically at the end of each period, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You cancel from your App Store or Google Play account: the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, which you keep. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
Your logbook and your stats stay free and available if you stop Premium. Prices may change; any change will be notified to you before it applies to your subscription, and you will be able to cancel.
Right of withdrawal
In principle, you have 14 days to withdraw. However, by accessing the digital content immediately upon subscribing, you expressly request immediate performance of the service and waive this right, in accordance with article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code (code de la consommation). In practice, refund requests are handled by the App Store or the Google Play Store, which alone collect payment.
Acceptable use
You agree not to try to access the service by any means other than the interface provided, not to extract its content in bulk, not to resell it, and not to disrupt its operation. In the event of a serious breach, access may be suspended or terminated after a warning — except in an emergency.
Intellectual property
The app, the website, their editorial content, the training plans, and the Climbl brand and logo remain the property of the publisher. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive right of use for as long as you use them. The data you enter remains yours: you can ask for a copy at any time.
Availability and liability
Climbl is provided as is, with no guarantee of continuous availability: interruptions may occur for maintenance, incidents or updates. We cannot be held liable for damage resulting from your climbing, from inaccurate entries, or from use contrary to these terms. Nothing in these terms limits the rights that the law grants to consumers on a mandatory basis.
Changes to the terms
These terms may be changed. Substantial changes will be notified to you before they take effect; if they don't suit you, you remain free to cancel and delete your account.
Mediation and governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, first send your complaint to support@climbl.app. If no solution is found within two months, you can turn to a consumer mediator free of charge: [MÉDIATEUR À DÉSIGNER]. You can also use the European online dispute resolution platform. Failing agreement, the French courts have jurisdiction.
